Supply Chain Assistant/Planner

Daily tasks in the Supply Chain department include planning production and distribution for the factory's two paper machines in Piteå as well as coating rolls in Karlsborg. We plan the transport of paper rolls to our customers and terminals across Europe, where we have three major terminals in Germany, England, and the Netherlands. Logistics is an important part of our operations. Our transports are carried out by boat, rail, truck, and container. Additional tasks include issuing documents, invoicing, and crediting. The tasks are varied with a lot of problem-solving and involve daily contact with our foreign sales offices and terminals.

Sales Coordinator

Daily tasks in the sales office include replenishing rolls in customer warehouses in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark from Smurfit Westrock's units and external suppliers, order entry, and production follow-up for both internal and external customers, adjusting customer forecasts, and following up on transports by truck and rail to customers. A varied job that requires good problem-solving skills. The work involves a lot of contact with internal and external customers and suppliers in Scandinavia, as well as with the factories, both Swedish and foreign, that our sales office represents.

Finance Assistant

The tasks involve invoice management and handling incoming and outgoing payments as well as bank reconciliations. We are looking for someone who has started university in finance or has a high school education in finance. Important qualities are a sense of responsibility and attention to detail, and we also expect a good sense for numbers.

Other Information

The employment is a summer internship and varies from 9-10 consecutive weeks during June-August. Full-time working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:05. You must be at least 18 years old when the employment begins. Smurfit Westrock Piteå is committed to a safe working environment and promotes a drug-free workplace.
